Congratulations to the High School's Coding Team!

Congratulations to the Coding Team who won the Code for Your Cause competition! Their modern design not only earned them the prestigious Innovative Solution Award but also a $10,000 prize dedicated to investing in new technology.

Every week, Mr. Hack, a math teacher and sponsor of the recycling team, would send out emails to teachers, requesting them to inform him when their recycling bins needed to be emptied. Motivated by the desire to streamline and enhance recycling efforts within their school, the coding team played a pivotal role in developing a practical solution.

The team worked hard to design, engineer, construct, and code a device that would automatically alert Mr. Hack and the recycling team. To bring their vision to life, the team used hypersonic audio sensors and a compact single-board computer.

At the Code for Your Cause competition, the team presented their work to high-level PNC employees. The judges were impressed by the team's idea, design, and execution.

The $10,000 prize they were awarded will play a crucial role in enabling the widespread implementation of their design across all classrooms.

Congratulations to the team for their invaluable contribution to enhancing our school's recycling efforts.

Congratulations to the High School's Coding Team!
