Skyward Family Access

Skyward Family Access Logo

Skyward Family/Student Access provides students and parents or guardians with access to real-time student information anytime, from anywhere with a secure internet connection.

With Skyward Family/Student Access, parents are able to check grades, monitor attendance, email teachers and school officials, view bus schedules, and much more. There is also a message center, which allows teachers and administrators to post information to notify parents about their child, school, and upcoming classroom events.

Skyward is an easy way for you to keep up-to-date online. Once you have activated your account and your school has posted information, Skyward can be used to:

  • Check your child’s latest grades
  • Check food service balances and add funds to your student's account
  • View daily attendance
  • View your child’s bus schedule
  • Review student assignment submission status
  • View student schedules, progress reports and report cards as they become available

Skyward Student Information System

How do I obtain access to Skyward?

All students enrolled in the Penn Hills School District have a personal student account which tracks their attendance, grades, and in-school behavioral record.  All parents and legal guardians of PHSD students are also granted access to that information through the Skyward Family Access portal.

If your student is currently enrolled in Penn Hills School District and you do not already have access to Skyward, please contact Colleen Szymansky, district technology coordinator at 412-793-7000, Ext. 1244.

There's an App for that

A Skyward mobile application is available for both Apple and Android devices through the App Store or Google Play.

Change of Contact Information

If you have a change of contact information, such as address and/or phone number within the Penn Hills School District, you should report it immediately to your school's registration office so that it may be changed within our records. Changes to phone numbers can only be done by the parent/guardian via the family’s Skyward account.
